What does Vantigo mean?

The name Vantigo came about from the spanish words "Contigo"meaning "with you" as a fun play on the words to include the word "Van", Thus, to go with you in a van, "Vantigo". 

How many people can your van hold?

Between Lillie and Harvey we can hold 6 and 7 passengers respectively.

Are these private tours?

We want to give every person a chance to ride in Lillie and Harvey, therefore we offer tours to everyone unless you book out the whole van.

Do you allow kids 0-4 years old?

We love kids in this age range.  That being said we do have other passengers and we want to respectful of them.  In order to accommodate we ask that you reserve the whole van by contacting us directly so we can block seats out for them to be able to ride for free.

Does Vantigo offer Wine Tours? 

Vantigo is happy to provide transportation for wine tasting using our Charter service. Please note, the vans do not have air conditioning, which means we typically only book these trips during Fall, Winter and Early Spring. Keep an eye out as we start to offer special wine tours in the near future.

Does Vantigo go to different breweries?

We are always interested in changing our trips around.  When booking the brew tour let us know if there are any particular breweries you would like to visit and we will do our best to accommodate as long as you have booked out the whole van.

I booked a tour and need to reschedule or cancel. What do I do? 

City Tour Cancellation Policy:  To cancel your reservation please email us directly (erik@vantigosf.com).  If we receive your cancellation 48 hours before the start of the tour you can expect a full refund. If it is cancelled less than 48 hours before the start of the tour no refund will be provided.  We do understand there are situations beyond peoples control such as air travel delays, traffic, etc.  We will accommodate to allow people to move their reservation if possible.  If you are booking an experience based tour which takes place outside, weather could play a factor. We are not able to refund the transaction fee.  Vantigo reserves the right to cancel or move the tour to another time and date.

Oyster Experience & Brew Tour Cancellation Policy:  Due to the challenge of how far in advance we have to make our reservations we have a 1 week cancellation policy. If we receive your cancellation 1 week before the start of the tour you can expect a full refund. If it is cancelled less than 1 week before the start of the tour no refund will be provided.  We do understand there are situations beyond peoples control such as air travel delays, traffic, etc.  We will accommodate to allow people to move their reservation if possible.  We are not able to refund the transaction fee. Vantigo reserves the right to cancel or move the tour to another time and date.

How is the schedule setup for tours at Vantigo?

Vantigo uses a software platform that allows Lillie and Harvey to be available for lots of different tours.  For example on a Saturday Afternoon we could potentially be offering a charter service, Highway 1 Brew Tour, SF 7x7 City tour or an Oyster Experience.  Once one seat is booked on one of the tours it will block out the rest of the options available for that van.

Do you pick-up at the cruise terminal?

The cruise terminal is conveniently located not far from our Fishermen's wharf location for our San Francisco 7x7 City tour at 1302 Columbus Ave.  You can easily walk there or take a taxi by calling (415)333-3333

Do you offer Gift Certificates?

We love being part of a great gift idea for an individual.  On any of our tour pages you can click the purchase gift certificate button to be able to purchase our experiences as gifts.
